Adams Food Group (AFG) was founded by Gary Adams in 2010 – more than 30 years after his Australian meat industry career began on the processing floor. There, Gary had gained invaluable hands-on experience in numerous facets of the industry. Pairing practical expertise with hard work and dedication, he then progressed into a variety of senior executive and director roles within private enterprise.
Gary had an ambition to pursue his own business. So, after a long apprenticeship within an industry he loved, Gary decided the time was right to leverage his senior positions, passion and knowledge to establish a global meat protein-trading business – Adams Food Group (AFG).
After many years of steady growth, AFG became the exclusive trading partner of meat protein products for Woolworths, in 2017. This strategic partnership with the major global industry player has since proven a historic alliance for AFG.
Today, we at AFG have maintained our passion and dedication for both the Australian meat and agricultural industries, and for supplying great Australian food products to Australia and the world.

We maintain a growing customer base with many different trade partnerships. Not only do we manage part of the sales division for one of Australia’s largest supermarket chains, Woolworths – we also provide solutions for independent abattoirs and aligned protein suppliers.
Our network provides a well-connected export and domestic customer base, allowing us to supply key markets while focusing on continued trade expansion.

Our meat protein products consist of beef, lamb and pork. These are sourced from some of Australia’s most reputable processing plants, experienced in delivering premium- quality, packaged meat specifications.
We only distribute high-quality protein produced at the highest standards, ensuring all product is bred and processed to the correct specification. Constant visibility and transparency throughout the entire process allows us to maintain a substantial level of quality control.
